  • Quiet night (no wake) is on Monday after 5 pm. After that time all boating is to be at no wake speed! On Monday holidays, the Quiet Night (no wake) will be on the following evening (Tuesday) for that week. Please respect fisherman and kayakers and follow this rule.

  • Always ski during daylight, one hour BEFORE sunrise until one hour AFTER sunset.

  • When towing tubers or skiers behind your boat or jet ski you MUST have a spotter with you watching at all times. That means you must have a driver and at least one other person riding in your boat/jet ski.

  • 100 Foot Rule: The State of Michigan law states that if you are operating a watercraft at a speed that is greater than a “slow, no wake speed” the watercraft or persons being towed must be not be within 100 feet of: a shoreline; any moored or anchored vessel; any dock or raft; any marked swimming area or person in the water. All boats and PWCs (Personal Water Crafts) must stay at a reasonable distance from fishing boats and must pass on the deep side of boats fishing the shallow waters of the shoreline.

Each child under the age of 6 years, and in an open deck area is REQUIRED by law to wear a PFD AT ALL TIMES!

  • The only water crafts allowed on Myers Lake are the resident or guest of a resident

  • Residents are responsible for the boating and PWC behavior of their guests. Please show courtesy to your neighbors and inform your visitors of all regulations. DNR has noticed our activity so please refresh yourself with the complete list of rules and regulations.

  • All lake residents and their guests must abide by the Michigans Boater's Guide Rules and Regulations.

  • No one under the age of 14 may operate a jet ski. Those 14 or older MUST have taken and passed a boating safety course.

  • Boats with motors will use their navigation lights for nighttime cruising. Sailboats or rowboats must have a flashlight or lantern on hand.

  • It is illegal to harass wildlife or disturb aquatic vegetation.

  • If you take your boat off Myers Lake to boat on another lake, PLEASE clean it off before putting it back into Myers Lake so as not to transfer zebra mussels and other invasive species into our lake eco system.

  • Please do not dispose of yard waste into our lakes. Tree leaves are a high source of phosphate that accelerates algae and weed growth. Nourish the soil and not the unwanted algae.
